Life is hard. Music makes it better.

July 2018 – Racquette Lake, NY

What I Do

My hope is to bring a blend of the greatest rock, folk, pop and country songs ever written to acoustic audiences of all shapes and sizes (and most ages). With an ever-expanding catalog of over 300 songs currently, I love nothing more than sharing my special blend of these classic favorites with just me and my guitar (along with a guest harmonica around my neck from time to time). I try to pick songs that bring back special memories for someone in the room every time they hear them played. I also sprinkle in a few originals folks really seem to enjoy as well. In short I try to bring Smiles Through Songs.

UPCOMING and NOTES ALONG the PATH

4/10/24 – Had a wonderful time with my new friends at the Fort Hudson Day Program for seniors today. I tell you, you haven’t lived until you’ve seen a cute little old lady dancing to an Elvis tune from her wheelchair. The joy in the room was there for all and we loved it. Already looking forward to my next time there.

3/30/24 – Had a wonderful time today with the fine folks at the Saratoga Farmers Market. Was an exciting atmosphere and an amazing variety of local products and services. Thanks to all for their generosity and kind words! Hope to join you again sometime this summer.

3/28/24 – I played at Fort Hudson Nursing Home today for the first time since the lockdown, and it was so much fun. I got to see our old and dear friend Sandy, and several others who were residents there when the ladies and I used to play there when they were younger. I also got to meet many new folks and see their beautiful new facility, and of course it is always great to get to sing a song with my lady. I can’t wait to come back and be with you all again soon!

10/10/23 – Had a very busy Saturday entertaining the fine folks at the GF Farmers Market on South St. in the morning, then to a RAINY benefit/craft fair in the afternoon at Burgoyne Quality Hardware in Hudson Falls. One of my favorite parts is meeting so many the great people in our area and watching the little kids dance as the walk by. It never fails that some little cutie will be dancing across the asphalt in front of me. The sheer joy and wonder in their eyes just gives life. God I love this job. 🙂

9/22/23 – Have had a wonderful summer sharing the gift of music with lots of folks in the area at many different events and watching the business opportunities slowly grow. Each event has been special and fun and I am always amazed at the number of great people I meet out there. I am truly blessed and humbled by you all. I have a few upcoming shows outside of the nursing home environment, so be sure to check out the schedule link at the bottom of the page!

6/3/23 – Had a great time at the Warrensburg Bike Rally and looking forward to next year being even better! Good people, good food and good music makes for a good time.

5/31/23 – Excited to be performing this week from Thursday through Sunday (June 1st through 4th) at the Warrensburg Bike Rally at the Warren County Fairgrounds. I’ll be there from 11am to 5 pm, bringing a couple of sets of my blend of classic favorites on acoustic guitar. The place is full of great vendors with everything from delicious food to memorabilia and gear of all varieties, and of course some beautiful bikes and trikes. For more info on the rally check out their website here: http://www.warrensburgbikerally.com/index.html

5/24/2023 – Had a wonderful time with my friends at the Glens Falls Center and Slate Valley Center nursing homes today. Got to sing Happy Birthday, Somewhere Beyond the Sea, and the Stray Cat Strut in the same set. Smiles were had by most involved. Check out this classic country tune I performed that day, “Sixteen Tons,” written by country music legend Merle Travis in 1947 and made famous by Tennessee Ernie Ford in 1955 – https://youtu.be/l57C2wO7NaU
